1. What services do you offer?
We provide expert styling, staging, and professional residential property care. Whether you’re preparing to sell, move in, or simply elevate your space, we tailor each service to your needs.
2. Do I need to be present during the service?
Not at all — but you’re more than welcome to be if you’d like! Many of our clients prefer to go about their day while we take care of everything. We’ll coordinate all the details with you beforehand and keep you updated throughout the process, whether you’re home or away.
3. How much notice do you need for a booking?
We recommend booking at least 3–7 days in advance to secure your preferred date. Urgent requests may still be accommodated depending on our availability.
4. What areas do you serve?
We work with clients from across Malaysia and around the world, primarily through visual styling and online communication such as video meetings. No matter where you’re located, we can coordinate everything remotely — from styling concepts to furniture suggestions and vendor referrals.
If an in-person consultation or on-site visit is truly necessary, it can be arranged within select areas in Penang, depending on availability.
For home care assistance, although most of our work is handled visually and online, this service is best suited for clients within our region, due to its more hands-on nature.
That said, we’re always open to possibilities — who knows, we might just find a way to serve you outside the area when the time and circumstances are right.
And of course… our shop is open to the whole world! Wherever you are, you’re welcome to explore, fall in love with something, and have it delivered right to your doorstep.
5. Can I reschedule or cancel?
Absolutely. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes to your appointment.
6. What should I prepare before your visit?
We’ll send you a simple checklist upon confirmation — usually just light decluttering if needed. We handle the rest!
7. What is home staging, and how does it work?
Home staging is a powerful way to boost your property’s appeal and market value. By thoughtfully styling and presenting your space, it helps buyers or tenants connect emotionally — making it easier to sell or rent faster, and often at a better price.
At Jo’s Home Solutions, I focus on visual home staging — a remote, affordable service that includes layout guidance, style suggestions, and image-ready tips tailored to your space. It’s especially effective for enhancing your listing photos, which are often the very first impression.
If on-site support is truly needed, I’m happy to arrange that within my service area, with a small additional fee.
8. How long does the staging process take?
The timeline varies depending on the project’s size, but most staging plans are completed within 1-3 weeks.
9. Can you help with furniture selection for my space?
Absolutely! We provide curated furniture recommendations to complement your home’s aesthetic and functionality.
10.What is home styling? Is it the same as interior design?
Home styling is the art of transforming your space through decor, layout, and curated furnishings — without the need for major renovations, structural changes, or overwhelming costs. While interior design often involves construction, remodeling, and architectural planning, home styling focuses on elevating the look and feel of your home as it is.
If your home feels uninspiring, cluttered, or simply “off,” home styling helps bring clarity, warmth, and flow back into your space. It’s about making your home feel like home again — a place that reflects your personality, supports your lifestyle, and restores your sense of comfort and pride.

11.How long does the home styling process take?
Every home is different, but most of our styling consultations are designed to be efficient and flexible. After our initial discussion and visual planning session, you can expect curated styling guidance or concept boards within a few days. Depending on the project’s scope and your decisions (such as sourcing new items or working with existing pieces), the full transformation can range from a few days to a couple of weeks — all without major disruptions or renovation stress.
